[Consultant Charles Hales with HDR said] “Scottsdaleâ€™s transit-dependent population is small, people will ride high-capacity transit if itâ€™s high quality. He said itâ€™s been shown elsewhere that workers will ride bus-rapid transit to work and rail transit to places other than work. It could also lead to more development and connections to other cities…”

Valley Metro: I-10 West Expansion Public Meeting October 24th, 2007

The City of Phoenix and METRO (Valley Metro / Valley Metro Rail) invite you to attend a public meeting to learn about and provide input to the high-capacity transit study in the I-10 West Study area. Project background, potential alignments and various transportation modes will be discussed.
The next meeting will be Thursday, 25 October, 3-6pm, at University Park, Safe Haven Room, 350 N. 10th Ave., Phoenix.
