Mission:
To advocate and promote modern rail passenger service within Arizona and between Arizona and other states.
Goals:
- Establishment of regional inter-city and commuter/light rail services
- Improvements in the national inter-city rail passenger system
- Operation of tourist/excursion trains
- Enhancement of essential passenger services support elements:
- Rail infrastructure and rights-of-way
- Grade crossing protection/elimination and other safety-related functions
- Intermodal passenger facilities
- Economic health of freight railroads
