ARPA will be exhibiting at this event, formerly known as the “Turkey Meet,” which moves to a new, larger venue at the Mesa Convention Center this year.

The Rail Fair:

All Aboard!  This free event features model train displays and exhibits, moonwalks, and other entertainment.  Free tours through the Roald Amundsen Pullman car, a former presidential car.  Many of the park’s seldom seen railroad equipment will be on display.  Train ride is $2.00 and carousel ride is $1.00 each.  Children under three ride free with a paying adult Saturday & Sunday, October 9 – 10, 10am – 5pm

Join fellow ARPA members and friends for informal train talk and fun. We have also invited the Phoenix Trolley Museum membership.

The ARPA Picnic will be Sunday, October 17th 2010, starting at 1pm, at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale.  We have the Aste Ramada.
